Looking to build new PC

  georgefarrall 22:47 12 Jun 2008

Hi there everybody. I have recently started to think about building a new PC

Asus P5K SE Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

Hitachi Deskstar 7K160 80GB ATA-133 8MB Cache - OEM

Corsair 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C5 200-Pin SODIMM Dual Channel Kit (VS2GSDSKIT667D2)

GeForce 8800 GT 512MB GDDR3 HDTV/DVI (PCI-Express)

TOTAL = £235.25 (including VAT)

I have an Intel core duo 2.4ghz processor.

I was just wondering if this would all fit together and work properly.
Currently I am thinking about buying from click here, but if anyone has any other websites in which I could get the parts for cheaper, I would love to know. Thanks alot!

"200-Pin SODIMM"

is for laptops. You need 240pin memory.

Go to Ebuyer and get your bits far cheaper than over clockers.

Right two things I would change here.

Hard Drive

Either one of the two:

Ram get two lots making it 4 Gigs:

What PSU do you currently have???

I am not really that bothered about hardrive space, I just needed an extra bit, I think that would push the price up but i'll take a look at ebuyers and see the overall cost, thanks for th tip.
