I have just installed the Microsoft Vista but my Logitech Mx laser 1000 mouse is reacting funny towards it. The curser suddenly jumps from one end of the screen to another. I've been on the website to check for updates to fix this but does not seem to work.Any ideas?
thanks

Hi, I think you will find that the mx1000 is not yet supported in Vista.

Vista drivers for you. click here

Oddly, some logitech mice perform better with the Windows generic drivers. If it still misbehaves with the Vista drivers try an uninstall and the Windows generics.

Have you tried without the drivers and software. Just let windows load a Hide driver. Remove software from Add Remove. But you will not be able to use other functions like extra buttons

Grreat - I stand corrected... well actually I'm sitting :-)

I've installed the driver from the website but that didn't help, I also let window vista install the driver but no change, will try again
thanks

You need to uninstall the mouse in Device Manager, you will then have to shut down the computer with keyboard it will then find mouse and load a windows driver
