Locked out of folder

  C3 00:41 28 Nov 2007

After the saga or rescuing my PC, I now have a serious problem that I can't access the My Documents folder I had set up on my F Drive.

All the other folders on the drive are totally intact.

I had reinstalled Windows without having the drive connected, so obviously it had installed the My Documents folder onto the C Drive. I just wanted to change the folder target to the one on the F Drive as I have done before when I've done reinstalls.

The folder is saying : F:/My Document is not accessible. Access Is Denied.

I've checked the drive size in My Computer and it states there is 45gb free. However, when selecting all the folders on F Drive and checking the size they total 170gb. The drive size is 270gb. I know the My Documents folder was about 60gb so it shows the data is still there.

So the question is, how do I access it without losing anything?
