Locate start files

My daughter has installed "The Sims" onto my PC. The problem being I can't locate where this has been loaded. No .exe file or desktop Icon.
I can see the program via the control panel add and remove software, but can't locate this program .
I have done a search but cant find the application any something under a folder called Maxim, but this only contains the Sims Data.

Look under c:\program file\sims

Search the PC for Sims.exe - it's usually in Program Files/Maxis. Can the game actually be used? It's possible it's been removed but not properly cleared the Add/Remove entry.

No the game can't be used and I did search for sims.exe, so I I also guess that the program has been removed, but not the complete file.

I have just tried to delete the program from within the control panel, and it states that the program is NOT installed, yet it shows.
How do I remove this entry from the program list?
