Local area connection cable is not plugged in

Hi, My internet disappeared I reinstalled windows with drivers, but my Local area connection says cable is not plugged in, I have tried 3 different cables still same thing, all driver says up to date , I have tried disabling it, reinstalling still same thing. Any help please? Thank you

No there are no yellow marks , there was but after I installed drivers its gone

May be a problem with the ethernet adaptor. There are cheap ones available - either USB for a laptop or an internal card for a PC.

Have you checked BOTH ends of the ethernet cable and ensured they are fully pushed in.

Does the network work between computers if you actually have one.

Could be a faulty ethernet socket. Laptop or desktop??

device manager -network adapter properties- speed&duplex was on auto i put it on 100mb half .all good! i have no idea what it did but problem solved!
