Loading programmes on startup in XP

Hi all,

When running WIN98, it's easy to find the list of programmes that loads on startup, via the system config tool. Where does it sit in XP? I've been trying to change what loads on startup (too much at the moment) but can't seem to find out how, even when using Windows help (about as much use as the chocolate tea pot - as usual!!) Also, does anyone have any info on how to remove a pop-up called aculice? It seems to be a mutating popup/virus that keeps coming back, even if you delete or rename it. I've looked on the net, but the 'cures' seem so varied it's almost as if it's machine specific. Pesky little critter!!

Hoping you can help J
