Listen to radio/tv online, can I record online?

Now that BBC and others allow you to listen to programmes online for up to a week after original transmission, is it possible to download software that willl allow recording for listening/viewing at a later date?

go to click here to access direct links to the BBC streams without using the iPlayer.
Copy and paste the links into SUPER from click here and save to your hdd.

I've found the Listen Again-Links-Real Player to be the best.

ashdav, are you still using this system successfully?

That method worked at the time as the links were to Real streaming media (ie. rm links) but since the BBC stopped them around July this year it no longer works.
They use asx streams now which only work with Windows media player. Tough if you use Linux.
I have managed to do it but it's complicated and you have to find the media link inside the asx stream by opening in Notepad and copying that to Super to download.
Can't remember offhand how I did it but I'll have another look and post back.
Iknow I had a few goes at it.

My method:
Using Firefox right click on the link you want and choose save link as.
Right click on the saved link and open with Notepad.
In Ref 1, highlight and copy from http to the end of wma. >http.....wma<.
In SUPER paste this into the save streaming link box.

Sounds fiddly but you can do it in 15secs when you get the hang of it.
