Linux Redhat...formatting for Windows

I have a 20GB Hard Disk with Linux Redhat on it.

I've made a Windows Bootdisk, and attempted to install Windows 98. Windows 98 install will not run because it requires an active DOS Partition or something like this.

I tried to create an active DOS Partition with fdisk but when i run it, it says "Error Reading Fixed Disk"

I basically want to format all 20GB's of this Hard Disk ready to install Windows 98 onto it. THx
