Linux demo ?

Hi guys does anyone know if there are any Linux demo`s I can watch, as I am seriously thinking of ditching Windows.

An option is to download what's called a "Live" disk. In short, you can boot with it and use it as an operating system but it will not make any changes to your PC.

Take a look at Ubuntu or Suse as options.

If you want a live disk, I can post you one or two or you can download fairly easily if on broadband.

The Live CD link that Diodorus Siculus posted is probably your best bet - a live CD can just be booted to run a full version of Linux (because most Linux distributions are free anyway) and this won't need to install anything or remove Windows. The only thing is, it's a bit slow to load because it has to load the whole OS from a CD drive. The one I used before was Knoppix and this gave quite a good flavour of what Linux is like. If you prefer Linux, you can download installable versions that can dual boot with Windows or run as the sole operating system, all completely free.
