linksys WAG54G - is it ADSL 2+ for Talk Talk

I currently get my broadband from Orange and phone from BT but am thinking of changing to Talk Talk for a bundled service. The local exchange is LLU enabled - so it's only £16.39. My existing wireless modem/router is a Linksys WAG54G which I'm very happy with. However I note on the Talk Talk website click here that they suggest it should be a ADSL2+. Does anyone know if my existing modem is ADSL2+ or would I have to buy Talk Talk's wireless modem/router? I've tried looking at the specs on the Linksys website but it doesn't mention ADSL2+.
Any assistance would be greatfully received.

have you tried phoning the 24 hour freephone linskys helpline,

No I haven't - I suppose that's the obvious step which I hadn't thought of. I'll try and locate it on their website. Thanks for the suggestion.

I got the info from the data sheet by the way. If you can't find a mention of ADSL2+ look for G.992.5

Thanks - I'll check the version when I get home tonight

Thanks to both of you for your suggestions. I contacted Linkys tonight and they confirm my version v1.2 is not compatible. Looks like a new one then!

I have changed to talktalk and they said my 3Com Modem Router would not run. load of rubbish. It works just like it would with another ISP.

PS the Modem they supplied would not run,They sent another. So I have a spare that I have not tried

As ADSL2+ is up to 24MB, I can't understand TT's advice in such cases - the fastest service it provides at present is "up to 8MB".

I had an ADSL2+ modem router in any case, but a standard Speedtouch 330 USB modem returned the same speeds as the modem router when used with a friend's laptop on my line.
