Hi,
I have just installed a Linksys WAG160N no issues there.(First time using N )

I am waiting for a N Adaptor for my Lappy so i don't expect anymore than the 54mb using the built in G, But what supprised me was i am only connecting at 100mb through Ethernet which was the speed G gave me.

Am i missing something ?

I expect a wireless speed increase when the n Adaptor arrives but is that it for Ethernet !! ?

Laptop running XP Latest SP
Built in Wireless G

Ummm searching around it would appear i need a fast Ethernet adaptor.

Any suggestions as to a good USB one ?

Don't follow your point? Your "wired" ethernet connection is running at 100Mbps and 802.11g "wireless" at 54Mbps; these are correct. The "wired" connection is almost twice the "wireless" speed.

I've just looked at the router's spec on the Linksys site, but it doesn't say if it has 'Gigabit' (1000Mbps) ethernet ports. If it does, a USB 2.0 Ethernet adapter isn't going to be suitable, because the data transfer speed of USB 2.0 is only 480Mbps.
