Linking old parallel printer directly to ethernet.

How would I go about putting an oldish printer (specifically a Lexmark Z31) with only a parallel port directly onto my ethernet network?

I would rather do it without using Windows Networking, so I can use it without turning on the "main" PC.

I have heard of little Printer Servers that can do this, but wouldn't I need to install the printer's drivers to use it?

Cheers.
