Limited or no connectivity on boot (BT HomeHub)

I recently got a home hub.

Plugged it in - my wireless card picked it up no problems with "Very Good" connection. Typed in the key and online in no time at all.

One minor annoyance. Whenever I boot up my machine the wireless connection shows as "limited or no connectivity".

Doing a repair on the connection solves it but if anyone can suggest a proper fix I would appreciate it.

Do you switch off your Hub when you shut-down PC? If so, this could be the reason, HomeHub should be left on all the time. Though it is possible that occasionally it may cut itself off, when this happens simply disconnect its Power cable, wait 10-15 seconds then re-connect Power, then after a minute or so when all the lights have settled down you will be back on-line as normal. I too have the HomeHub which I think is great, it is so very easy to wirelessly connect my partners laptop, while I am on my desktop.

Hmm, make sure it is not situated close to anything else electrical, and that it is as high up off the floor as possible. Also not on or near a Metal desk or filing cabinet. Also try its aerial in different positions.

giving my PC a static IP address has fixed it.
