Limited or No Connectivity

I current cannot connect the internet through my router. It keeps saying that it has limited or no connectivity and cannot obtain an IP address.
I have a 3com officeconnect router and a dell inspirion 6000.

Any suggestions

I sometimes get this problem.... Usually solved by rebooting the router AND the computer

If it continues, there is a "WinXP SP2 Patch" to fix this

I have restarted both already and i still contuines. I have also installed the XP Patch

Have you tried reinstalling your LAN/wireless adapter?

When rebooting a router it is often not enough to just push a button, or pull the plug for a secound or two, you often have to leave it turned off for 10-15 minutes.

I sometimes find that using the repair option, in the sys tray, usually fixes this problem for me.
