Limited Connectivity to wireless Netgear network

My daughter has a brand new Dell 6400 lap top running Vista Home Basic BUT ONLY with limited wireless connectivity?!

I am attempting to connect this computer to our home wireless network.

The fully functioning home network already has a Dell desk Top (XP) [connected to Netgear router by ethernet] and Dell Lap Top Inspiron 8200 (XP) connected through Netgear PC card WG511T.

The router is a Netgear WGT624.

MY daughter's lap top (Dell 6400) finds and connects to the network but only has 'Limited Connectivity'.

If it helps, the 'Wireless Network Connection Status' dialogue box shows 'IPv4 Connectivity' as 'Limited' and similarly the 'IPv6 Connectivity' as 'Limited'. I do not know what the IPV? means and if it is relevant to the problem.
Thanks
David

My brother helped me out. It seems I had included my network password instead of the required WEP security key. This meant I only had limited connectivity. Inputting the correct security key solved the problem.
