Licensing Office 2000

I have a PC where I run Office 2000.
I would like now to buy two new PC's, to create a small domestic network, and where I would like to install the same Office 2000.
Unfortunately, being Office 2000 no longer on sale, it is not possible to acquire new licenses for this package.
I have heard somewhere that it is possible to down-grade a Office XP license, to use it with Office 2000.
I have visited the Microsoft web site, but I haven't found any useful information.
Does anybody out there know anything about this problem, or have any suggestion ?
Thank you.

The XP license is backward compatible, as now I think that is the only type of license you can get.

If you purchase boxed version of Office XP then NO there are no downgrades rights.

You have to enrole on a licensing Agreement with Microsoft (Minimum purchase of 5 Office Licenses) to qualify.

If you need any other qualification on this please post.
