im wondering, how much power does a p.c take, but without the monitor? my setup is a amd 2000+ with 256 ddr. anyone have any ideas?
It depends on what is in use, and the loading on the CPU, ie. how hard it is working.
Turning off the Monitor would save power also using the options in windows you can turn off the hard disc(s).As to how much i do not know.
me see now.
Too many variables, but you can determine the max power pulled by the size of your PSU.AH
Very little, Monitor uses the most power The system cannot be equated as it reduces 230AC volts to at most 30DC So you cannot go on Watts alone
hi thanks, yeah i'm not going to stress it in anyway. just have my adsl connection on and the firewall on and that it. anyone know how much power it takes? say compared to a light bulb?thanks guys
