We are wirelessly networked at home with a pretty old router (Conexant)but I keep seeing reviews and adverts for the latest, fastest, all singing bits of kit. Is it worth upgrading and would we have to change kit in our computers as well?

“Is it worth upgrading?”

If the present wireless system is working perfect, and have no problems accessing leave it alone

The only reason to upgrade is if you want to go to Wireless 802.11n (Draft 2.0) technology

“Would we have to change kit in our computers as well?”

Yes, if the present Wireless system is G and you change to 802.11n (Draft 2.0) technology all of

the computers will need a Wireless 802.11n Card or Wireless 802.11n Adapter
