Lapyop keypad woes

Hi all I have just reformatted my laptop but now some keys are not as they should be, whenever I press j I get 1, k I get 2 ,L I get 3 , u I get 4 , O I get 6 but if I press the Fn key in the bottom left hand corner it works ok. I have looking in regional settings. Regional options are set at English uk, location - united kingdom.
Languages.
Help me as i have sold the laptop and the guy who bought is is coming to collect it in the morning.

You need the Keyboard and Touchpad Drivers, If you check in Device Manager you will see yellow icons for drivers that have not been loaded. Right Click My Computer\Properties\Hardware\Device Manager

Have you checked your keyboard settings are set to uk too?

You have numlock on,if you look closely at the keys in question you will see the numbers printed.

How to turn it off? I think it's FN + F9 but I can't remember exactly!

cheers folks its now sorted, it is FN and num locks pressed together.
