Hi,
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have an ACER Ferrari 4005WLMI, came with Win XP Home preloaded and provided with all rescue disks. How do I make a copy of the hidden partition in case my HDD should fail. As I understand it the rescue disks look to this partition to reload Win XP Home as it was when I first so obviously I need to recreate this partition on any new HDD.

Oh and while I'm posting, a friend iof mine has just bought a Dell with an Core 2 Duo CPU. Without reading the manual he has another graphics card to run in SLI mode along side the one that came with the PC. When he opened the PC covers he can see only one PCI Express graphics slot, is there some sort of PCI adapter card with a graphics slot on it so he can run both cards in SLI mode.

Many Thanks

Mac

EAsiest way is to use Acronis true Image to copy the whole drive.
