Ok you have listed the computer total spec but noting on the type of TV that you want to connect to

Make and model No

Type of inputs that TV has VGA port, DVI Port, Etc

There is no need to list the spec just the make and the model # will do

Ok you need to buy a male-to-male vga cable to connect the laptop to the TV

Once you have connected the VGA cable to the TV you now have to set up the laptop to access the external display

Using the “FN” key (Function) and the “CRT/LCD” key look at the top of keyboard “F” keys

Hold down the FN key and press the CRT/LCD key once

Display will change as follows

Press once laptop display only

Press again external display only

Press again both laptop and external display

You must hold down the FN key each time you press the CRT/LCD key

In tv manual it says that along with cable connect audio cable as well. Do I need to use one as I don't have one at present.

Yes you need audio cable to connect to earphone socket on laptop to RCA in, on TV
