Laptop taking too long to startup?

My laptop is taking 4 minutes to start up, considerably longer than what i recall it did when i first purchased 1.5yrs ago.
Appreciate it might slow down a bit the more programs i add...
is there any way to speed up the start up?

You need to clean up the registry, remove temp files, defrag the hard drive, un-install unwanted

programs etc

If the windows request message to reboot appears, Do Not reboot click the NO button,
