laptop connections

Son-in-law purchaasing a laptop but wants to use internet when they go caravanning. can you do this? do you need to connect using a mobile phone of some sort? any advice appreciated as this is something we know nothing about.

You can certainly do it, the cheapest way is a Wireless Hot-spot click here

Mobile phone technology is also possible, but is very slow and expensive.

if his mobile phone can access the internet and has bluetooth,you can pair them via bluetooth and use the phones modem.If his phone can access the internet free or via a monthly allowance you can then use it as a dial up connection.You will need the dial up code for the phone provider ie T-Mobile.

I have £7.99 per month,but i do use it for approx 100 hours per month.
If he has one of the phones that is hsdpa enabled you can get broadband speed,unfortunately i havent so make do with onspeed which is fast enough for my needs
