Laptop to computer

I have an IBM thinkpad which I wish to connect to a new computer. Can you please tell me what I need to make them talk to each other.Thanks in advance. Carper

If you want a wired connection you need a crossover lan cable, or if you prefer wireless you'll need a wireless adaptor for each machine.

You can get both from your local shop or try click here for the cable and also click here for the wireless adaptors (note these are just examples of what you need)

If you only what to trasfer files a USB link cable will do at about £7

Let me know how you get on as I also have Thinkpad & PC -
I usually just use USB Memory Stick (250MB) to copy files etc across from there & back again
