laptop for £650 max

Hello all,
I am looking to buy a laptop for no more than £650. I would only want to browse internet WIRELESSLY, do 2D work and maybe edit photos using Adobe photoshop CS2. I would also want to watch videos on it (DVDs etc). Now I know a bit about computers, and know that I don’t want less than 512mb RAM and 60Gb hdd. I would think a centrino processor would fit the bill but I am not up to speed on AMD’s latest processors for laptops (ie do they have wireless capabilities?).
One other thing for me, would be good battery life.
I hope this all makes sense!
I have searched the forum but would like some more info/suggestions.

thank you

The middle one of this range looks a good deal, herc182, well capable of meeting your requirements and within your budget. You would need to add your own OS, though.

Top rate in my experience - I buy all PC related bits from them.

very good. with win xp its still around my budget.
is that graphics card ok for photo editing and dvd watching?

The graphics will be fine for DVDs and photoediting.

One hint - buy XP and install it yourself - that way you get a full XP CD rather than a restore disk. Check with Novatech for their current way of providing XP preinstalled.
