Kps & Mbps

Hi,

Can anyone explain what the difference is between kps and mbps with regard to internet speed.

K or k = kilo (Thousands)

m = milli (thousandths)

M = Mega (Millions)

b = bits

B = Bytes (8 bits)

So you see it's very important to get the letters exactly right, especially the b or B part.

And you can also see that Kps is useless - as it doesn't say whether it's bits or Bytes.
