I have a new Dell laptop, only a few months old.Suddenly the No. 1 key has been playing up, I have to press it really hard and more than once to get it to work. I have never had problems with keys before. What could cause this and is there a way to fix it?

Hey there ,you may need to replace the key that does not work, you can find replacement laptop keyboard keys at www.laptopkey.com I usually buy my keys i have issues with from them , they are reasonable and are great at service.

Thank you for your SPAM Tech_guru2000 but as the laptop is under 1 year old it is the responsibility of the seller to arrange to mend/replace it at no expense.

lotvic

Tech_guru2000 was only offering a bit od advice, get off your high horse.

As Kirsty K has not bothered to reply to any posts, either the problem is solved or she does not want any help.

oops sorry got sidetracked for a minute but like Fruit Bat /\0/\ says take it or send it back it is covered by the 1 year warranty and should be sent back for repair.
