I foolishly ran a Keygen on my PC (Windows 2000) and it loads advertisng URLs (links) on my toolbar and taskbar and on the blue border on top of any open window.
When I reboot I get a dialogue box saying (in the blue border) 'Program Error' and in the main body it says ' process has already exited> has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program.
An error log has been created'.

I have run a Registry cleaner and Spybot a few times but the problem repeats itself with every reboot.

Any ideas?

PS: I ran Spybot and it found something called Virtumonde.sdn

Malwarebytes ought to remove it - click here
If not you might need to post an HJT log at a dedicated removal site (like the one linked to above).
