When we try nd type on the eyboard on the desktop pc it has a tendancy to come up with a bunch of other letters.
Any ides on how it happened or how to fix it?

Any particular characters? Make sure you have the computer correctly set to UK. Can you try another keyboard?

Can you explain in a bit more detail please.

And as above - have you tried another keyboard?

Using your keyboard, type the letters starting with qwerty.

I'm using my laptop not the desktop.
I've just sat here and watched the keyboard be taken apart. To be honest I'm starting to suspect vodka was spilt on it. Just had it confirmed.
found liquid in the keyboard. Is it fixable?

It may dry out and be OK. One time after a session, I woke to find someone had been sick on my face. I was OK later.

Vodka is a bit oily.

You can wash it all in warmish water quite safely. Dry out thoroughly, at least overnight - in an airing cupboard is best.

New keyboards are pretty inexpensive if all else fails.
