keyboard problems

I just put together a self-built PC. All's almost there.... ( painfully tho). Got a keyboard problem tho'.....the @ key is on the " key. Be grateful for help to resolve this. Thanks

Did that...it's set to English UK. All was fine until I just replace the old PC with the new-build

Sorry about that VoG™, I must have been suffering from post-build traumatic syndrome! Of course I know where the SHIFT key is. AND.....it worked! Ihave my@@@@@@@ in the right place now. I thank you. Please tell me what the shift-alt stroke does to reset the @ key.
