keyboard light remaining on

I know this question has been asked before but there was not really a clear answer. I have a Cube247 Pegasus ST9 running Vista Home Premium, with a P/S2 keyboard and mouse. When the computer is completely shut down (not Hibernating or Sleeping) the keyboard number lock light remains on. It is on permenantly. Is there something I can change so that the light goes off when the computer is off?

yes switch the power supply off at the socket outlet. Most modern pcs remain alive although off when connected to the mains. If you had a side window you would see an led alight on the motherboard this is to show that the mains is still connected.

As howard64 says there is still power to the motherboard which is the reason the light on the keyboard is still on. It does no harm, mine does it too, so I would just leave it. If it really bothers you you could switch it off at the wall but I don't bother.
