I use a Genius Keyboard with a button to go to Foxmail. I just installed a new hard drive, loaded with Foxmail as usual. Now when I press for email, I get "windows cannot find C:\Documents & settings\foxmail.exe" It finds Outlook Express OK when that is set as Email client. Foxmail is in the Documents & Settings, so why cant the Genius find it?? I can access it easy enough with the desktop short cut, but just want to know why its changed?
Does Foxmail show up in the Internet Explorer browser Tools/Internet Options/Programs/E-Mail drop down box at all ? With IE6 and IE7 being central to Windows some programs will take their instructions from there .
Ashrich:It shows up in IE options, & thats where I chose it from. skidzy: Went here, gives choice of Outlook Express, or "use my curent email programme" Have current selected, when using Foxmail from desktop shortcut.
Had a "brilliant" idea- perhaps the fact that its connected via a KVM switch caused problems! Connected direct, still no good!! Thanks both, Al.
