Have you loaded device drivers for your new keyboard and mouse?

You shouldn't need any additional driver for the mouse -

You dont need to install drivers, its plug-and-play, Do this.. 1 start 2 right click computer 3 manage 4 click device manger 5 expand on pointing devices 6 right click your mouse > uninstall Finally restart your computer, then plug the mouse back in - windows should find a generic driver.
