Keep meaning to sort this out, incoming OE.

Previously when I connected to the Web OE checked for mail directly, now after a new ISP has changed all the settings I have to use send/receive after I've gone into OE. How do I put it back to the way it was?

In OE: Tools, Options, General. Tick the boxes as required.

Pops: Shouldn't there be another tab after general and which option should I use.

Pops sorry, I was checking in IE not OE. Sorted.

TommyRed. On the General Tab, Send & Receive, Tick box for send and receive on startup. This should cause OE to connect immedeately you click on its icon to open.

On mine it as I said above then, tick the appropriate boxes in the Send/Receive Messages section and insert a suitable time interval for it to do that.

This is for version 6 which is attached to IE6. I assume this is the version you have.

Yeh Version 6, as I've stated all is now resolved thanks for the help.
