just tweaked BB view results here

just thought i'd share this with anyone who is intrested

let me just point out, that it may not be a great increase but there certainly is a gain!

i'll start by giving you the webpage where i got the information and program from

i did a speed test at adslguide click here

after following the instructions on what settings to change

i improved my speed

heres the first result without the tweak

second result after the first tweak

NOTE: the improved upload speed

and final tweak

a slight improvement i think

it's upto you if you try it, but it worked for me, i know it isn't earth shattering but every little helps.

A few extra k's.

Try it at peak time ;-)

i knew there would be someone who said that

lol trust you powerless

i do agree i will try it at peak times, but i don't fancy going through it all again.but also think that these tests where done in the space of minutes of each other, so being peak or off peak an increase was noticable.

i've had trouble all day with my isp,i just hope the connection doesn't go to a crawl like before

i'm leaving the setting as it is

ill try it tomorrow see what speed i get i'll post it here ..

When i speedtest mine i get a different result each time.

  jolorna 08:59 06 Nov 2003

i have just used it on mine and the speed has gone from 455 to 464 and 244 to 247 using bt b/b

well i have done many and they have always, always been the same .the same as the first result.

i believe it does make a slight difference to the speed test.
