Just in time debugger error message

Hi pc is a win xp pro sp2

Just lately been getting an error message, from various programs,

An exception 'system.arithmeticexception has occured in...... however no debuggers are registered that can debug this exception. unable to jit debug

I've updated java and the settings in ie are set to not display error messages nor to debug errors.

any suggestions please?

Seems related to .NET framework.

Look for it in Control Panel/Add Remove Programs, download the appropriate version (click here) uninstall the current one, reboot, install from your new download.

Hi

Add/Remove shows .net framework 1.1, .net framework 1.1 (hotfix), .net framework 2 and .net framework 3.

Do I remove 1 of them or all 3?
