It wasn't the normal size Firefox installation download - it only took a few seconds.

I've checked the Linux version and there are no updates, so whatever it was must have been for the Windows version.

Forgot to ask, what does it say in About Firefox? Is there a date in the information?

  ade.h 23:01 28 Mar 2006

0.1 definitely came along in January; I've had it installed since then. But Firefox doesn't always check for updates very often.

  Stuartli 23:02 28 Mar 2006

No date, just - I installed 1.5 when it was first released.

As my system is on for about 15 hours a day it does seem strange that it has never appeared before.

It has also warned that the spell check and another extension are not now available and, according to a message panel, that new versions have yet to be released.

I had that on my laptop yesterday, the update was over in a few seconds & it then checked for compatabilty with the extensions. The version & build did not change though & had no update on my this PC so who knows.

  ade.h 23:06 28 Mar 2006

When searching for extensions I see a lot that say things like "no 1.5 update yet". I only use three right now and they're all compatible luckily.

If you have problems with Spellbound try this extension in case they haven't updated it yet

And don't forget to install the dictionaries for it.
