Hi

for some reason i have started getting js.cgi script files in my Temporary Internet Files folder, someone told me it was to do with Zone Alarm but it only started last week.

i am running XP Pro, Office2000, and have Zone Alarm Pro, Anti-Trjan Shield and ad-aware installed, all these were installed and working prior to this problem appearing.

It is not doing anything, just annoying me because i dont know why they are there.

below is an example
Name Internet Address
js click here

the 10208 at the end changes on every entry, it seems to put a new entry in for every page i visit on the web (any site)
if i click on it, it asks me if i want to download the file, answer to that is obviously NO but what is it?

I have had this before and the only way round it was to Re-Install windows, but i dont want to do that again just for this Unless i have no choice

Anybody got any ideas before i Format.
thanks

Delete all of these files.

You could also use your antivirus scanner to check it for code.

It sounds like something is logging your tracks, try disabling Temp internet files, get a script blocker too.

These should help.

Also click here it may help also.

It is a tracker. Must be, can you open the files in Notepad and post the CODE here please.

You should be able to copy the file from Temp into your files, open them using NOTEPAD in windows, and then the code included can you copy and paste it on the website here.

This will help me indentify.#

Bye.

Gareth
