Right click one of the saved files, select Open With. Browse to find the program that you want to use and tick the box to Always use this program for opening this type of file.

Go to Google and type 'Picasa 2' and download from their web site.

This will find every JPEG image on your computer and you will be able to view them.

VoG's message wasn't there when I started typing I did not give a contrary recommendation.

VoG's solution will work but Picasa 2 is still a very good application to have if you are involved with images.

Photo snap viewer is part of Nero I believe, why you should be asked for this is strange, unless whoever sent the pics has associated them with this programme. Do you have another picture viewer program that you could use to open the pics with. How do non e-mailed jpegs open?

To restore the default program for jpg files click here

Download the ZIP and open it. Extract the REG file to your hard disk and double click it. Answer yes to the import prompt.

Hi all,
The images were sent by Picasa and copies were sent to my inbox, these are the ones I can't open. VoG's solution - "cannot import" not registry script.

I do not like going against VoG, but I agree with
brambles. However if you`ve got a big enough Hard
Drive try everything. Thats how I arrived at Picasa "
