Java - window freezes - any ideas?

  FLT 20:12 30 Mar 2003

Many times when I open a pop-up window on a web page, I am then unable to close it, or click on any navigation buttons. I have to reload IE5 and start browsing again. But then I can't shut down the PC as normal.

I presume it's some sort of Java problem - and I've tried now with the Sun as well as the MS version but the same problem exists.

Anyone got any ideas?
