I'm trying to enter a post into a forum that os based around java (I think). Every time I open up a "post new topic" page, I can add my name and the title etc, but the bit where I need to type my question just displays a red cross, and the java console pops up saying:

Java Plug-in 1.6.0_01
Using JRE version 1.6.0_01 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM

There's more but its too much to post in one message.

Can anyone tell me what it all means, and what I need to do to fix it??

Thanks

There should only be one version of Java installed on your PC andy625, uninstall any older versions of Java.

Just uninstalled all older versions and now only have runtime environment 6 update 1, version 1.6.0.10. Doesn't seem to have made any difference.
