How do you set it up so if you complie in java say text pad, you can use the data that you use.

For example

i know you import the basic IO but i think you need to set up the environment in XP so that it enables you to input data.

other wise i get:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Assignments\changeCalc.java:2: package basicIO does not exist
import basicIO.*;
^
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Assignments\changeCalc.java:15: cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class Stream
location: class changeCalc
Stream in = new Stream (System.in);
^
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Assignments\changeCalc.java:15: cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class Stream
location: class changeCalc
Stream in = new Stream (System.in);
^
3 errors

Tool completed with exit code 1

when i go to compile
