JAVA anybody

My daughter has problem downloading some web pages.

it ask her does she want download java. She says yes but it still won't work.
jave won't load.
She uses XP PRO thw same as me amd I have no problem.
Any Ideas anybody.

It just seems a bit strange becuase her pc is exactly the same as mine.

Mine works on every site iv'e ever visited amd Iv'e never downloaded JAVA?

In her browser check Tools > Internet options > Security > Custom Level > Java.

There is a list of options for Java, she could have it disabled, not a bad idea, you can bury a executable file in a Java Applet fairly handy, select a high level of security at a minimun.

Windows XP does not install Java by default.

Ensure you have ticked; "JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled" in Internet Options, advanced. Then re-boot.
