Simple question (I hope)

Do I need javascript & active X installed to run Internet exploxer 6

I'm having trouble getting in to some web sites and think that java & some active x files have been deleted. If I need them could anybody tell me where & what I need to download - idiots guide please (as per usual)

I can see the internet etc. but can't access areas like my bill information on O2 and e-bay so was just clutching at straws. Interesting point is if I go into internet tools and clear cookies and delete files I can seem to get into e-bay after a bit of fiddling around. Not sure if this should have to be tweaked everytime!! :>(

Often it can be your settings for cookie control and ad blocking will stop access in full. Check your security settings in IE6 and also in your security programs. On safe sites you are having trouble with disable them temporarily to see if that is the problem.

I had real trouble getting into the Environment Agency site because the ad blocking was too high, amazing.
