java

since the last java update i have had 3 different java based infections picked up and cleaned by nod 32. the thing is nothing else detects them. i only have nod in real time protection but if i scan the infected file with superantispyware, a squared, kaspersky, s & d, threatfire or avira none detect a problem. i have been told eset class the files as a risk due to a high probability it's a class downloader trojan.
so isnt it better to remove java completely?
why is nobody else wise to this?
and why the hell don't java patch it?
thanks.

Are you using java6 update6 and have you removed all of the old java updates.

yes to both. i only had problems with java since 6.6 and the thing is the only site i use which turns java on is yahoo? im thinking of removing it, still puzzled why nothing else finds it a risk, it's not a threatsense assumption it's a registered risk.
anyway thanks for the repies.
