While running an AVG check, I noticed that it spent ages on Java. When I looked in Add/Remove programs, I noted the following entries:J2SE Runtime EnvironmentJava(TM) 6 Update 3Java(TM) 6 Update 5 Could someone advise if I need to keep all three of these big files.
Delete them and install today's new update:click here

Probably because you didn't uninstall the current version when an update was released.

It would be nice if Java implemented a sort of uninstall of old updates when you install the latest. Been hoping for that for years !
