itunes space problem

  noddy_2121 13:04 07 Sep 2008

Hi all,

i have been using itunes for atleast 6 months now and the time has come where my C drive is completeley full to capacity!

How can i back up my itunes library and free up the space on drive C at the same time? (about 30GB)

I have another partition that is 50GB that can be used to backup my itunes library to.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you

I'm not an iTunes user, but I presume that the songs are stored in discrete files, like any other data. So can't you just copy all of those files (or the folder(s) that contain them) from your C: drive to the empty drive?

Once you're happy that they've copied across successfully, you could then delete the files from your C: drive.
