I stuppidly forgot to deactivate iTunes on my Windows Vista Trial Version (my fith out of fith go at registering) and have since reinstalled XP over the top of everything (don't worry I had things backed up). However I have managed to dig out some Audio CD's backups without to much trouble, and have an iPod with the old exact library on, so my question is can I transfer the music off of my iPod and back into iTunes and play it again with out giving over my account details?

not sure about ipod but other players act as a flash drive and you can copy the contents as if it were a normal file and put it in the music library.

It seems you have used your 5 authorizations. However, you can reset your authorization count by clicking De-authorize All in the Account Information screen. Note: You may only use this feature once per year.

Further info on the whole authorization issue click here and on Apples site click here
