Hi P.C Advisor Forum Members

Whist browsing the Windows folder on the C: Drive, I was surprised by the large number of files contained in the Temp folder (81MB).
They appear to be Zone Alarm database files
some are around 2MB in size, and date back to December 2004.

ZoneAlarm Logging Client v5.5.062.000
FWIN,2004/11/18,23:22:56 +0:00
GMT,(flags:S)
Also,
TMP File xDBE.tmp

Also, I noticed another file called;
tvDebug
2.86MB in size
created October 2004
Modified 1st March 2005

Any idea what this is? is it safe to delete?
I am running Win XP, have Zone Alarm (basic)
and AdAware.

Many thanks

Regards

Rogmur

files with .tmp extensions are safee to delete. You can turn off the logging in zone alarm aswell

Yes, just delete them

It's always a good idea to let the log run for a week or so in case there is a problem but after that just bin them
