ISP hijacking applications

Been having connection rate problems, so this a.m. briefly signed up to Tiscali (paygo) just to check the connection. Later on I removed it, and deleted all refs I could find to it. Also removed it from Internet Accounts in OE. Yet, the IE and OE banners still say '..provided by Tiscali', when I know they're not. I don't suppose this is important, but how can I chnage that back to my default ISP? Or ama I making a fuss over nowt?

Umm, I think spyware blaster has a feature to do this, and in the regsitry search for it.

the branding in Internet Explorer, click Start > Run, then type in ( or copy and paste )

rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear

Start > Run > type in regedit.
Look for the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{User-ID}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0
Where you see {User-ID}, there should be a number that looks something like:
With the \5.0 key selected on the left pane of RegEdit, look for the "WindowTitle" entry on the right pane, and double-click it to change your title bar text.
If you don't find the WindowTitle entry, right-click the left pane's background, and choose New > String Value. Name the new icon "WindowTitle".
Press Enter, then double-click it and type the new title bar text.

Sorry. In 'Identities', all I have are three sub folders that are linked, presumably, to the three identities on my PC. Can't find nixi about
\software\microsoft\outlook express\5.o.

Make any sense?

in IE, it's gone (even my previous isps), but the outlook one still remains.

a) Close Outlook first.

b) Reboot immediately after and check.
